Just a reminder for the San Francisco Bay Area folks that this weekend is the KublaCon gaming convention in Burlingame. I'll be running a few Star Wars games during the weekend, so stop by my table in one of the open gaming areas and join the fun! I'll be the guy with all the plastic stands set up

If I have a chance I'll stop by and if you can please stop by my Grassy Plains game I'll be right across from the registration table(if all goes well.

And I'll have my Shapeways SSD as well as a Liberty,Imperial Light Cruiser(can't remember the name now),Quasar Fire Carrier and a Gozanti(all Shapeways).

If all goes well I plan on using the SSD in an Armada game at Pacificon in Sept.

I’m working at a client site in Anaheim this week and next. Even if I was able to leave right at 5pm on Friday, driving up there would put me at the Hyatt no earlier than 11pm, and more likely midnight — or later.

Flying would be faster, except trying to book a weekend ticket this late in the game would be difficult, and I’d have to be careful about scheduling otherwise I’d risk missing the flight. Again, I would be unlikely to arrive at the Hyatt before midnight.

I’ve heard of buses and sleeper buses that are common amongst certain groups, but the travel time would still be around the same.

Of course, six of the nine games involving RPGs with the word “star” in their name are on Friday night.

Sigh…. Looks like I’m going to miss another one. ;(

I had to miss KublaCon this year (family member had neurosurgery this week ), otherwise I would have been looking for these games.
