Full Bespin Leaks

Anyways, weird that they are using the sith probe droid artwork for that droid card (why not a seeker like Luke practiced with in Episode 4). And also weird that it says 'defending figure's group' instead of just 'target'... maybe its just in case it shoots an ally like a rebel trooper, but leaves me wondering if it really is for the new imperial class (campaign only.)

Like I said, this is surely a card for Murne.

You are probably right. Which is disappointing since I really wished we would see a unique imperial class figure (or atleast 'pet').

The ISB infiltrators don't look like anything special to me campaign wise... I'll probably still pick them up though just for more options in campaign and could be fun to use on certain missions that are more espionage focused. (Perhaps a mission with rebels vs mercs, but suddenly 2 elite infiltrators sneak in.)

I think the elite ISB Infiltrators are potentially great in campaign, depending on the Rebel heroes in the campaign. If you're up against a bunch of Rebels who defend with white dice, elite ISB Infiltrators are a great way to bypass dodges. And I feel like the Empire has more and better ways to focus them in campaign than in skirmish.

Elite ISB's are Deadly. :D

Well, based on the text for the R5 Astromech, we can pretty much guarantee that FFG has no intention of actually making 3D versions of the companion droids. It also makes me less inclined to worry about getting proxies since it appears normal figures can occupy the same space as a companion. I'll still use my R2 repaint as a Junk Droid and just deal with space overcrowding in any game they are in use.

On the topic of the R5, I'm curious how it will handle using items from the supply deck. Depending on how the companion rules are written, if the R5 itself gets whatever supplies it draws, there are some it just can't use. The Emergency Medpac requires resting. The Power Generator requires a crate token to use with it. (And could the R5 attack if it was focused or somehow could use the Power Generator? It doesn't have the non-combatant text that 3PO has.) I do like the idea of the droid chucking grenades, though.

Ahhhhhhhhh, where are the new heroes class cards? Imperial Black Ops deck?? Campaign structure?? NEED MORE CAMPAIGN INFO, SO EXCITED!!

There is just a dash in the attack slot of the R5 Astromech. Theoretically, if you can get it focused, it could thus attack, but I would say you would be better off focusing any other friendly than R5. One green die against any defense would be much poorer than an addition of the green die to any other attack.

For Forage we'll need Companion rules, and possibly some clarification.

I really hope/hoped they could make a R5 and R4 astromech miniatures. But if they don't I guess I can always hope someone makes on for shapeways so I can buy a few there.

I don't see why FFG wouldn't add them in a future wave, but in my mind I would have rather paid $5-10 more for the expansion box and had them in there. Disappointing, but understandable. Especially if they needed to include 3 of the junk droids so that each Ugnaught could deploy one.

I thought the blurry droid was Cam droid, not Com. Too bad it's a rebel card, thought it would usable by ISB's.

How do we know it's a rebel card? Have we seen anything about how it will be entering play?

I believe everything is there. Not sure if that's all the correct quantities.

I was secretly hoping that we would get all card options but it looks like as usual we only get one of each card. So 2x eWing Guard will required a second Bespin box purchase. Literally a whole box for 1 card.

Why would cards be double sided?

Why would cards be double sided?

Because some of the new promo cards are.

FFG seem to not want to provide more cards than figures... but having the elites and regulars double sided solves that problem.

For skirmish it doesn't matter.... for campaign it doesn't work well because you'd need to sleeve the cards for the secret deployment groups.

The biggest issue of double-sided cards is how to make sure the IP remembers which side of the card they were planning to be using? With all the defeating and deploying it's easy to make a mistake.

Also, card backs are open information, so how to convey the types of deployment cards if you can't show their backs?

Sleeves sort both of those issues, though I don't think they implement something into this game that expects you to sleeve your cards.

Just glue them to the original cards.
