A few more scum Z-95s. These things are so much fun to paint, just go crazy and do whatever pops into your head.

A whole pile of these guys:

Love that motley look.
I wish they sold 6-packs of Zeds so I could paint 'em all kinds of crazy.

The scheme on these guys was a bit of an experiment as some of the fighters would be partial repaints and some would be full, so I had to adjust my style to make both work. I was aiming for something that looked like a fleet but nowhere near as consistent as the Imperials. Also, grungy.
(Edit: replacing a bunch of my pictures because photobucket can go die in a fire ...)
What turquoise is that on the Y-wing?

It's actually a forest green shaded up with some white. My old camera did not have the greatest colour fidelity, makes it look a little more blue than it really is. I have a pair of additional Y-Wings on the way, so I should have some better pictures coming soon.
Thanks, now to find forest green!
wait, what company makes forest green, and thanks in advance.
The one I was using originally is discontinued but Vallejo Deep Green is about the same colour, that's what I'm going to be using for #2 and #3.
If you're looking for a more vibrant green, there's also Vallejo Jade Green. That's what I used on my B-Wings and K-Wing. It's a Game Colour paint though, so it comes out a little glossy.
These

make me think of this

Scum Y's. Been around the block a few times. Might pre-date the block, actually.

The two Scum Y's:

Hey, it's been a while. Some new stuff.
A-Wing number 4:

All four of 'em. I had to switch the paint I was using for the purple, and it's *slightly* different, but nowhere near as much as it looks here, which is strange.

Next up, TIE Phantom. I stuck with the white panels and gold canopy of the rest of my Imperials, but switched out the purple for black, using purple accents on the cloaking generator to tie it in with the rest of the fleet. Sadly this makes it look like a First Order wannabe, but you know, whatcha gonna do.

The 2.0 announcement has pretty much killed my desire to play 1.0 until the new hotness gets here and fixes everything, but I'm working on getting my existing collection painted and expanding it a bit where I have fewer ships of a type than what will come in the conversion packs. I'm also splitting my painting time with Legion, which is not making things go faster.
Finished up my Kimogila today. This guy never did see 1.0 table time for me, and likely won't now.

You should field the Kimo at least once. It's not a bad ship, in my eyes. Great paint job by the way!
I'm sure a lot of people feel like they're in Limbo right now too, but I'll tell you this: I've had to step away from playing regularly because of a new addition to the family and the one or two times I've tried playing since, I've noticed I'm struggling more than in the past judging distances/range and clearing obstacles.
The point is, you should still try and get regular games in just to keep those skills tuned. Besides, now is the time to play those crazy lists or ship types that were put aside.
That's a good point, and September is a long time away, so I probably will get more games in before we get there. The good news is that I'm a filthy casual so I don't really need to change my lists much between 1.0 and 2.0, hopefully I'll just stop feeling like I'm being punished for wanting to fly B-Wings.
Some more progress. First up, a little boring, but a second finished TAP.

Next up, I was doing some 2.0 math. Once I have my 2.0 core I'll have 7 TIEs but only 6 dials. I'll also have the Rebel conversion kit which gives me the goods for a rebel TIE.
This was a fun little quick project. If I can find a 1.0 TIE expansion for cheap I'll probably pick it up just to make into a second wacky colourful rebel ship.

That is an awesome Ashoka TIE! Great idea.
Painted up a rebel Z-95 (finally). I rarely use these guys, I usually stick with cheap A-Wings.

Next up, a second rebel Hawk, because they're going to be awesome real soon now, and also they're so much fun to mod and paint.

The two Hawks together:

Where did those cylindrical engines come from?

Looks like a combination of 40k plasma pistol and melta grenade bits. Might have to steal that idea...
Correct! (I think they're melta grenades, anyway, I salvaged them from the bits box ...)
Edit: Yep, googled it, melta grenade.

I love your use of bright colours. And even if your Kimogila is mostly black and white, the use of spray effect is pure genius !
Thank you!
TIE Reaper. My god, this thing was a stone cold pain to paint.

Is that airbrushed or paint brushed?
