Firespray completed for my scum. This one took a while. The canopy by itself took longer than some of the ships in my fleet, but I'm very happy with the end result.

I love the the different Panel colour variations. the YT models work well when they are painted like this.

that's a pilot that wants to stand out in the Space ports !

I love the idea of keeping the cockpits consistent in your Scum fleet.

Z95 number 2. I'm really enjoying these scum. With the rebels and even more so the Imperials, it starts to feel a bit like you're just running the same plan each time, but with my scum, each ship is a whole new thing and I can just make it up as I go. At this rate, scum are going to be my biggest fleet, just because I'm having so much fun painting them.

TIE Defender.

So. Many. Panels. Seriously, if you are thinking, I need to repaint some TIE fighters with white wing panels, just stop and reconsider your life choices.

Hmm, i almost stole that purple without even thinking about it apparently lol. Though mine has black windows and green areas instead of gold and uber-light-purple.

Im reserving the white panels for tie/fo's otherwise they'd be identical to tie's lol.

Not even kidding, I don't own any TIE/FOs because I have no idea how to paint them.

Give them a marking of some sort. Like the outer rim of their side panels is red or some other obvious color.

Gotta remember when TIE/SF comes out you need a third option too lol

I'm thinking maybe doing them in gold to match my Lambda. Certainly that would be easier to manage than just flipping the colours and doing them in white with purple panels, which I also considered. Anyway, I have a bunch of Scum and some more Rebels and Imperials to work through before I get there.

The turret guns look like the lascannons of the first gen Epic Land Raider. The engine modules are most likely from a 2nd(?) version of the Thunderhawk. Maybe it's time to dig up the old Epic stuff...

I just completed a Defender of my own, I wanted to paint it to look more like the "light stone-grey" of the ANH Imperials.

"Oh, it will just be a simple in-and-out job!" I said. "Just a simple panel recolor!"

Like the Royal Guard Interceptor, this guy has the original red paint scheme, I just painted the panels white, added some gray and gold detailing, and redid the canopy in gold. I was originally just going to repaint the whole thing in purple but I'm glad I didn't.
