The Raider was more an experiment in having an "Armoured Up" Raider, making the panels more Ablative spaced armour than Solar panels.

You may of answered this before, but what is the pipe you use for painting those ties? Because that looks terribly useful for painting those tiny fighters. And I have huge sausage fingers Wich make that maddeningly difficult
Just various pieces of PVC pipe from my modelling days, with hand-drilled holes.
Different dimensions for different projects. The smaller one like above suits TIE Fighters and TIE Defenders, whose wings hang around.
But I have larger ones for Rebel squadrons (which due to their increased diameter are easier to hold) and irregular squadrons.
