What does everyone think about running a naked Imperial fleet consisting of;

Armada suffers from a rather poor uptake in my local area (Ctown) and don't get many chances to play test fleets and new ideas.

I only have played a 3 ship list including an ISD, VSD and GSD, and I wish to practice having afew more activations and trying to improve my skills.

Is a high activation fleet a plausible option for competitive play? Can anyone offer hard counters that are likely to be faced?

I see a large problem versus heavy squadron based fleets.

Against squadron heavy Rebels you'll get eaten alive. The VSDs have neither the speed nor maneuverability to avoid his bombers and you've got nothing to stop them getting to you. You are much better off dropping an activation for squadron cover.

And "naked" ships can work. They just do it more slowly than ships with upgrades. And that where you'll run into problems. You're shot will be Braced and/or Redirected while you opponents upgraded attacks won't be as often.
