For those that run Omega Leader with a Palp Shuttle, what modification do you put on OL?

The Palp Aces variant I'm trying right now is Kagi with Palp and Countermeasures, Inquisitor with V1, PtL, Autothrusters, and OL with Juke, Comms Relay, and Engine Upgrade. It's 99 points.

I end up rarely using engine upgrade. I don't know if it's a fluke since It's only been a few games, or if EU isn't actually needed. I don't have much trouble getting things in arc and the PS war has died a little as of late so PS 8 is good enough.

Do I go for stealth device or Hull or shield? TIE MK II and a procket on the Inquisitor? No mod at all and more upgrades on the shuttle? Like Sensor Jammer or Reinforced Deflectors?

Stealth Device seems alright with Palp backing it and your Comm Relay evade, you should be able to force it to stay up longer. Hull/shield seems more reliable and allows you a little leeway to just not spend your comm relay evade and take a plink.

Not seeing anyone using the mod slot on OL. He's quite good at 26 points with Juke and Comms.

Yeah, you run omega lean so you can fit either whisper or inky and wampa. There is no mod worth more than wampa

OL is better when kept to the lowest effective price point with just Juke and comms

I like the idea of shield because it helps OL ride into late game without a crit, but I think I'd stick to stealth. It helps a Focus token to be worth more, it helps keep Evade token. If it mitigates one damage it's on par with shield or hull.

I run OL,and Inq. TAP with redline and I've found that an extra shield or hull does wonders to keep OL lasting even longer. Shield if you got the points, hull if you need to squeeze out 1 for something, and none if you want toys for other things.

I like shuttles a lot. And I hate Omega Leader a lot. So my vote is something on the shuttle. I've always wanted to try Reinforced Deflectors on the shuttle, but when I take Kagi I usually end up giving him Sensor Jammer, and Carnor Jax flying cover. Next time I'll try Reinforced Deflectors.

If I can spare the points, SD, he is very solid with it one on one if you can keep him only getting shot at by one or two ships. Doubly so with a palpmobile in the mix.

If not, he's just fine without a mod. I'd never put hull or shield on him (or on anyone except maybe hull on Tel Trevura, if I'm honest).

You could try TIE mk2 as well, for a point to get 3-bank greens it's not awful, and he does like using his reds.

I run him with Stealth Device if I ever have the points spare. Although I like to run Sensor Jammer on the shuttle too.
