Need Feedback for Local Tournament

By Krodarklorr, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Greetings pilots. I'm a relatively experienced player, and this weekend is my local store's X-wing tournament. I've been to 3 so far, and have had mixed results. The list that I'm considering running is as follows:

Contracted Scout (25)

- Dead Eye (1)

- Plasma Torpedoes (3)

- Extra Munitions (2)

- Guidance Chips (0)

- R4 Agromech (2)

(33)

x3

Yeah, I know. I'm that guy going for the triple jumpmasters. But this list is hella fun, and I'm expecting people to be bringing equal amounts of cheddar. My question to you guys is, is it worth it to have 6x shots of Plasma Torpedoes? Or should I exchange Extra Munitions for Feedback Arrays to help deal with Aces?

I've only faced triple toilet seats once, but he did have Feedback on two of the three. But since I was playing Rebels they were mostly just wasted points.

I'd certainly suggest using that last point to give yourself one ship with Proton torps. You'll want that near certain Critical. And it might even make the opponent focus on that ship first. So a little something you can use to your advantage.

If you fear Imp Aces, take one EM out and give that ship FA.

For the other two, downgrade all 3 Agromech to Overclocked and you make room for 2 more FA.

I still prefer to take my chances on a Proton/Boba Scout, Overclocked isn't really my thing, but...

So, one ship with Proton Torps and extra munitions, and two with Feedback Arrays and Plasma Torps? That actually doesn't sound too bad.

He only had one without EM and it didn't have FA. I'm sorry I don't remember his exact list but I do remember he used the astromechs that gave him Focus and Stress (I think) and not the Target Lock.

If you're willing to drop the feedback arrays and keep extra munitions, I would downgrade two of the R4s to overclocked R4s (as suggested), upgrade one plasma torpedo to proton, and add crew. Boba to the R4 agromech and 4-LOM to one with plasmas. This gives you a good chance of pushing a crit to trigger Boba, and 4-LOM shuts down a token. As K Genesis stated, keep the feedback arrays if there are lots of aces in your meta. Happy flying!
