So the Bespin stuff has been "On the truck" now for like 2 weeks.... Anyone heard a street date? I'm hoping it's available this week!

Super stoked to get it this week but....it will bounce my unpainted minis count from 10 to 27. And that includes the bantha and the repulsor tank. (First world gamer problems)

Boy, don't I know the feeling! I've done 60 or so in the last two months, so I can finish my remaining figures plus this expansion wave in a month or two... I hope.

60 in two months? That's 1 a day! If I could do that pace I'd probably be almost done mine too, but I'm barely 20 minis painted in. I find the heroes and uniques the slowest, because each one takes more effort and time as each phase of the painting process finishes. If I'm doing one of them in a week I'm a happy guy.

Stormies though, they get done in batches, and thus, were quickly finished.

I've found that painting unique figures is quicker if I paint them in pairs. This usually gives one figure enough time to dry while I'm working on the other. However, this usually means I have a glut of figures to tackle as the troops get done first because they are less time consuming.

I still have two Heroes from RtH and wave 5 to do. Pretty sure I'll start painting Bespin troops before I finish those.

I'm scrambling to finish everything before Bespin just for a personal achievement. I just finished the tank and a second group of Snowtroopers. The last things to go are a group of Rebel Troopers, an Alliance Smuggler and an Imperial Officer primed, and the last group of Stormtroopers that's kinda sorta halfway done. Since I probably won't be seeing the expansions before Monday 'round these parts, I should be alright

I have Gideon, Mak, and Fenn to finish from Core set. Then R2-D2 and Rebel Troopers to finish next. Then I will do the remaining heroes from Twin Shadows and Return to Hoth. Then just some odd ball stuff to round out the first 3 sets and all waves. Then I'll start on Bespin. My goal is to be on to Bespin by first of July.

I do the same of setting a goal. Like to try to do 2-3 figures each week. It's not always accomplished, but I get 'email done by the second week.

I have started painting multiple figures with mixed colors to save time.

IE, the last time I mixed Mechanicus Standard Gray and Abawhatever Black I did Gideon and made sure I got the boots for all three rebel troopers done. They also carry the same gun, done. I also made one of them the ethnicity as Gideon to shake up the monotony. Hopefully that means the RT's get done a lot faster later, and I wasted a little less paint in the mixing process.

Anyone have it yet?
