Star Wars ships form my game

By Gosric, in X-Wing Off-Topic

There appear to be a few people who like what i design so i thought id share some of the Corvan ships from our sadly, and apocalyptically, finished RPG

The hero ship for most of the game CNS-04 Ravenheart

Two of the ships in use by the Rebellion at the time the heroes joined. The Bloodycrow Assault bomber/Combat lander and the Corvan T-7 Strikefighter.

After the Corvan survivors start to band together more and larger ships start showing up. first the Gunship and Corvette.

Roland transfers his flag so to speak to the Corvette. after a brief turn in the Gunship when Imperial pressure becomes a bit much to keep using the Ravenheart

The Rebels still in need of fighters start producing the Corvan T-8 light fighter. It is not as fast as the A Wing but packs a decent punch and is a lot sturdier for its size. As well as being cheaper and easier to make

And finally after all sorts of hijinks and shenanigans Roland is awarded the captaincy of the largest surviving Corvan ship by those survivors who he put so much effort into finding rescuing and reuniting.

The light cruiser Carvus Ascendant

Sadly soon after the feces hit the impeller and everyone died saving the Imperial rebellion (long story)

Great stuff Gosric! They fit in really well with the Star Wars aesthetic - sounds like your RPG was a lot of fun!

Thank you. I think you know how important aesthetic is to me so it is good to hear that.

The game was a lot of fun. We did what we set out to do.

Gleebo helped the Rodians become a respected people and Hutt power was diminished, Roland saved his people and founded a new Corvus, Sebastian our human noble became pivotal in the rebuilding of the republic and our main Jedi founded a new order (though i suspect it is probably something like the Grey Jedi) and became one with the force after learning all sorts of interesting tricks

The Rebellion and Empire were sharing power as a stopgap measure to the return of the republic. Which was sort of working but didnt sit well with Mon Mothma and Leia who wanted things to happen instantaneously. And resentful Imperial bureaucrats who didnt agree with these upstarts taking control.

But then our companion from the early part of the game who we had believed dead, turned up with a gigantic imperial fleet after being taken and brainwashed for all that time,as part of a last ditch plan from the former emperor. Immediately attacking Coruscant with catastrophic results.

Rolands wife and Sebastians family were killed in the bombardment and all that personal growth that Roland had gone through, from death craving revenge monkey to noble leader, went out of the window. Kzhyrion our Jedi returned in force ghost form reveaing that with righteous death of force users there is a huge energy release in the force that can be channeled against those who cause harm (and it was ok since it isnt death as such *L*)

And so the end result was the Corvus Ascendant blowing up with us on board and the resulting force energy burst destroying the Newly arrived Imperial fleet. After that sacrifice Mothma, Skywalker and the Imperial bureaucracy had to work together to stabilize things and peace was brought to the galaxy....For now

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said it ended I apocalyptic fashion! The few rpgs I played didn't tend to pan out in such epic fashion (mainly due to our parties habit of turning on each other at a moments notice)

If I recall correctly, did you have some pictures of the Corvan ships printed and painted?

We have the turn on each other syndrome in many games. It put paid to our last Trek game but then we were playing a mirror universe task force stuck in the Federation timeline, So i suppose that actually fit the characters *L* But for some reason we all got into the 'We are heroes' mindset. And while things got a bit dark at times we all stepped up and became champions of the rebellion rather than self serving scum of the universe. Which is of course in keeping with SW tradition. Even the Rodian was loyal and trustworthy once we all got together and started functioning as a team. As for painted Corvans. Yes i do.Ill dig them up
