Just in case anyone hasn't seen or receive the email updates from the UKGE, here's the latest schedule information for the Yavin Open. Please note I am not the TO, I'm just posting this for your information:

X-Wing Yavin Open - Schedule Change and Prizes

Firstly an apology that we have had to change the schedule for the Yavin Open. We had originally planned to hold round 7 on the Saturday in order to build some time into the Sunday schedule. However FFG have insisted we move round 7 back to the second day in order to meet a "specific player expectation" and "consistency for future events". Based on this we have had to revise the schedule which means we have had to reduce Day 2 round gaps and remove the lunch break. You have our sincerest apologies for this change.

However recognise that you still need to eat and so we have teamed up with several of the food vendors running the food court in the Hilton Car Park to provide a table delivery service. In order to cause confusion this service will be on offer through out the UKGE to all events at the Hilton. You will be able to order by text and pay in cash on delivery to your table. We will publish details of this service on the UKGE website in the next few days.

Prizes

There has been some discussion over when you can collect your prizes for the open, specifically if you think you may not qualify for the top 32. Do you have to play all 9 rounds to collect the tokens. We asked about this, specifically looking at what our response should be to players who want to offer round 7-9 intentional draws. We have been informed that the requirement to play all 9 rounds has been changed and that now a player must complete round 7 (even if that is an ID). So the tokens will be issued on completion of your round 7 match.

I understand that changes at this stage can be unsettling but please be assured UKGE is putting maximum efforts into providing you with a great tournament and to make your weekend something to remember for all the right reasons.

X-Wing Regional and Open - important information

With only 4 weeks to go until the UKGE we would like to continue to encourage players to pre-register as both tournaments can expect to be delayed by HOURS, not minutes if a significant number of players choose not to pre-register in any form. We can only enter players on the day via FFG's TOME software which can only be run on ONE computer. So it has to be one at a time.

You can take two minutes to pre-register or watch 400 other players take their two minutes while you wait to take yours. If you're wondering how many others have pre-registered then you can visit this page for the regional and this page for the open . This is the live data along with expected delay time based on numbers pre-registered.
