Ok so I'm currently playing a defel Bounty Hunter Assassin; with the droid companion motivation. For this slot the Gm and i were looking throught the books trying to find something like the DRK-1 droids from the old D20 Star Wars system. Closest we found was the "eye in the Sky droid" and the holocam droids. Then i saw the cover of Far Horizons and got very excited. Because lo and behold, there on the cover was my old friend DRK. or something tha tlook very close to it. However the only thing i found in the books was the KD fugative trakcer droids. which are WAY to big to be the droids on the cover. (1.4 meters), so im asking here hoping someone knows..... what are those droids, and where can i find them.

I believe that those were Recon Remotes. See http://swrpg.viluppo.net/equipment/gear/76/ and look on page 57 of Dangerous Covenants.

Looking at Far Horizons, see [1] for a full list of all the items that FFG provides in that book. The only droid or remote they list that appears to me like it might fit the picture you see on the FFG page at [2] would be the “DZ70 Fugitive Tracker Droid”, see [3] for the listing. Of course, this does look a lot more like the old DRK or “Sith Probe Droid”, see [4].

So, I’d say that it’s up to you and your GM. What do you want it to be?
