Just checking out the ship as Lynna and Trell get closer. Because Sting has raised suspicions about the vessel, I am allowing everyone a chance to roll. This represents a courtesy glance before docking.

You can have it be from the following:

  • heal 1 strain per advantage
  • add a boost die to the next check per advantage
  • spend two advantage to add a floating Boost die for the encounter
  • get 1 special per advantage

Take a point of strain due to the bad views.

First things first. My apologues for the lack of consistent updates and communication. I understand if people want to bow out, though I wil be doing my best to move things along.

Campaign:

The distressed ship is a Suwantek TL-1200 freighter, the name Fereallis emblazoned on the sides. A quick glance shows significant carbon scoring and venting of the atmosphere. If anything, it looked like it might be in worse shape that the Fool's Errand .

Or would, if it wasn't for the fact enough people has passed the mechanics check. The venting atmosphere is too consistent and doesn't appear to be from actual damage. In addition, it has zero movement in relation to other celestial bodies.

All boarders gain one upgrade to both Perception and Vigilance checks.

Don't forget that you also have a set back die to the next to combat checks.

I'll flip a Destiny Point and take strain and conflict to use this to activate my Sense power as the crew is assembling. This tells Massan if there are any living beings on board the enemy ship within Short range from the Airlock door.
After doing so Massan is committing his single Force Dice to the Sense power, upgrading the first attack targeting him each round.

I'm out of the country for the next week and a half, making posting unlikely, so for the moment Lynna's action is going to be to hold station in the cockpit and keep an eye out for trouble.

Yeah, before things get too far, I'm going to bow out as well.

It's nothing against anyone here, but after a month of not really having anything to do and not really being needed or adding anything to the group, I'm just not really feeling inspired to continue following along, waiting for a chance to get involved. I've also just kind of lost interest in the character itself.

So before the story got to a point where my character became a meaningful part, I feel it's probably easier on the other players an GM to just bow out now, when my character doesn't even need to be written out, as they've not had any impact on the story to this point.

Hopefully there'll be another opportunity in the future, and thanks for the chance to game with you guys!

I understand if real life is hammering you right now, but it would be good to clarify if you think that will be resolved in the near future, or if this game will be on hold for a while.

Good evening Everyone,

Unfortunately, the situations with family that were causing me trouble back in June are rearing their ugly heads again. As such, I am canceling the campaign until such a time that I can devote more than a few minutes to it. This might come as a shock to some people, but the family problems are requiring more attention than I want.

Once again, I am sorry for the lack of updates and communication and I profusely apologize for canceling the campaign after a promising start. If/when I start the campaign back up, I will give each of the players a personal invite and right of first refusal.
