I could always start shooting the speakers to silence them....
Sarone's Star Wars: Hutts Space Chronicles (Season 1) OOC
I cast Summon Earplugs! And a lvl 8 Cone of Silence!
Also, the only person we are waiting for now is GMRen. I already contacted him and are just waiting on a response.
Done.

So is it time for Massan and CC to roll again? I'll take it the Captain replaces Tion as one of the 3 people providing assistance?
Aso, if Tion can use Skulduggery to silence the klaxons with unorthodox methods, will that reduce the number of setback dice by 1?

- It's up to you, but I would say wait until every one that isn't rolling say so first. I'll post the difficulty when that happens.
- The Captain will replace one person. Don't be surprised at his response and criticism, though.
- Any one can use Skulduggery to silence the klaxons. The problem, though, is that might damage the system and will required to be reset and recalibrated.
Excellent. Assuming Tion follows through with his plan with Skulduggery I'll wait for GMRen and Tear44 to post before rolling. I'll also hold off until the captain has answered.
As it looks now, assuming another Destiny Point is spent and Klyp and Daal assist along with the Captain the pool would be A PPP BBB DDD C SSS . One less S if Tion shuts off the bloody noise! So, a bit better than 50/50, but not that much better.
Flipped a DP to upgrade the check to quiet the klaxons, using my boost for from the initial resilience check and using convincing demeanor (removes a setback die from skullduggery checks) to remove one setback die giving me a pool of PPPBDDS.
Silencing the klaxons : 3eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 3 successes, 1 advantage
Yes! Hopefully 3 successes is enough to carefully quiet the klaxons and I'll use the advantage to pass a boost to Massan's next check.
I'll write the narrative of what happened in a bit.
Woohoo, a success, finally! You should be able to pass a boost to the next PC to roll something relevant, but you need 2 advantages to make sure it is a specific character. But if nobody rolls anything before me I'll gladly take the boost
Oh, yeah, that's right. Well, somebody gets a boost anyway. Haha
Go for it, Kymrel!

Um, I didn't tell you what the check to silence the alarms Skulduggery would be. That would be a computer check with that difficulty. If you want to use Skulduggery, I will let you know later today. I'm still working on the post for this afternoon/evening.
My apologies. That wasn't made clear.
...and we're back to zero successes on non-reaction checks for the group.
I fully expect my setback die from the resilience check to see to it that I trip coming down the ramp and dislocate my knee.
My apologies. That wasn't made clear.
It's understandable. However, with a Skulduggery check it means moving to silent the problem, not fix it. While it might work, it would also mean a future repair would have to be done.

Nah, I'll just apply it when you try to sweet talk the Trandoshan.
Ok, new round of actions. Sonovabith has elected to go for an action this turn (his character was one of the guys providing unskilled assistance last turn) with disabling the klaxons.
Before deciding what to do with the advantages, I should point out that Skulduggery is used to disable security and warning systems. These systems have to be repaired at a later date. That being said, because sonovabith decided to go for an Average Difficulty, it will require a Hard Difficulty to repair the system. The good news is that a Boost die can be added to that repair role. However, that is a minor one and can be handled later.
Starting Destiny Pool: 6 Light Side/5 Dark Side
Flipping a destiny point to upgrade my skill for the computers check.....Computers check to reboot system : 3eD+3eS+2eA+2eP 0 successes, 3 threatrackin' frackin' frick and frack...
Noted. Take one stress and a Setback die to the next check.
Destiny Pool: 5 Light Side/6 Dark Side
This is turning out to be quite the epic ***********... Can we request a new dice roller?
If you have one that does better than the previous one, send me a PM about it.

Noted. However, because the difficulty for the Skulduggery check wasn't set, Tion managed to do some damage to the warning and alert system. That will be a Hard Difficulty check to Mechanics/Computer to repair. You can either add a Boost to the next Mechanics check for Massan or have it be permanent for repairing the master warning system.
Destiny Pool: 4 Light Side/7 Dark Side
Floating Boost (All Stations): 2
PLEASE NOTE: BEFORE ROLLING, PLEASE POST YOUR DICE POOLS AND THE BREAK DOWN OF SAID POOL. While previously it was ok, It seems to have gotten a bit more chaotic causing trouble for my accounting. Hopefully this wil help negate those problems later on.
I'm going to try again at recalibrating the systems. Is the Setback a permanent fixture for this encounters, and can I take one of the Boosts?
Sure. I won't need (well, I hope) a boost to fix the klaxons later on. And so the next person to roll automatically gets the boost.
Very good. I'll wait for Klyp (Tear44) and Daal Nuvo (GMRen) to post to tell me if they are providing unskilled assistance or doing something else before rolling.
Edited by Kymrel@ColonelCommisar: I will be assisting you, so you can add another Boost die
Hopefully actually useful Unskilled Assistance from Klyp for Massan this turn.
He he, we can only hope and pray

Nah, just my (poor) attempt at humor. I even put a smiley on it to make sure!

I'll have to double check, but you had only generated one Threat. In turn, with the klaxons down, you only have to deal with the one Setback die from the place being so dirty.

We shall see. We shall see.

So that is JalekZem's action?

And that makes three down, two planned, and three to go.
Assuming my fellow twi'lek is going to make a second effort at sorting out system issues, I'll do what I can to provide unskilled assistance to her.
