So for any of you that have run this or anything similar, is it OK for newer players, or do they just get stomped too quick?

I've brought new player in before playing with teams but that works better when there are 2 newbies, this time I have 3 experienced players and 1 new guy was thinking about taking the furball approach. Any thoughts or better ideas are welcomed!
