I have a roleplayinggames account. Same name as on these boards.
Knight level PbP game.
Still working on a character - trying to decide between Soresu Defender/Shien Expert + Seer/Artisan.
The character will either be fairly good at Knowledge and Mechanics (and has been making a living as a journeyman mechanic and general tutor) or fairly good at Skulduggery and Streetwise (and has been making a living as a deputy investigator in local law enforcement)
Any suggestions for the name?
I like referencing music. How about Battle Drums?

Just joined. ComradeCosmonaut is my username.
I'll have my character finished tonight or sometime tomorrow. Sorry, it usual takes me a bit to create characters and things IRL are busy right now.
Just thought of a name, how about: The Mercenary March?

It's fine.

The Magnificent 6
Too obvious?
Meet Metharom.
I was thinking of multi specing into sage to have a knowledgeable person in the group. Looks like I won't have to now. Leaning toward Armorer, but still looking thru intellect and cunning based classes
Metharom also has the Seek basic power. For some reason, SW Sheets is having trouble.

Ah, yes. We shall have many fine conversations of Lore and using seek to... seek things.
Should I swap seek for sense or something? Or dump the points into a skill rank?
Vote on the name:(Like the post that has the name you want.)

The Mercenary March.
The Mercenary March.
Since I can't like my own posts, My vote is for this one.
Typed up a brief description of the game:
Star Wars
The Mercenary MarchDisaster has struck the galaxy! The Republic has crumbled, and has been replaced by a merciless galactic EMPIRE.Any resistance is quickly quelled, and any sign of weakness is soon crushed. Those who protect the weak have found that it is better to do so secretly. A small number of elite mercenaries, bounty hunters, outcasts, and ex-gladiators have crashed on a lone, unimportant, Outer Rim World. Fighting through the Dangerous, Deadly, Destructive, Deserted, Daunting, Devious Desert, they have found a small town, ransacked by pirates.
Try saying the Desert description five times fast. ![]()

It's not super important to me. I like Seek the most because it's cool, but I don't mind dropping it.

I have no qualms with you having it, especially if you like it so well, just don't want to step on your toes. I shall look through the powers again.

A good alternative to seek is sense. Upgraded you can commit force ratings to upgrade offense and defense checks in combat. I would use sense for Jost but he can't really commit any force rating as he uses Move as an attack.

Sense commit to upgrade, seems to be very, and I mean VERY, popular.
I like Seek for the Shatterpoint parts, if you want it for the Seeking parts, then I don't see to much overlap. But, really, none of the powers immediately grab me as being necessary for the character concept, so go ahead if you'd like.

From what I understand it's the only way to get red dice on defense that doesn't strain you.
