Weak Bases. Any solid solution?

By ChewfalconSolo, in X-Wing

I've been having a spot of trouble with the pegs breaking off or not fitting properly into the areas provided.

I've already had to glue a peg into two of my ships. The Punisher and the Falcon. The tops snapped right off into the nub at the bottom of each ship.

Is there any solid solutions as to how to make them sturdier as well as removeable?

It's rather frustrating that I cannot store the Falcon or Punisher because of this.

Any and all help is appreciated. I would also like to refrain from using a drill if possible. But if that is what it boils down to I will.

More cowbell.

I'd give them a hull upgrade. Maybe shield if you're afraid of crits and willing to pay the extra points.

Science, or magic. Sounded legit, amirite?

The positive charge to the magnet glued in place of the pin recepticle (just break it off) is attracted to the negatively charged magnet glued to the top of a plastic pin. There used to be good advice on the.....modding and repaint forum....ill see if I can find the link.

Be warned, you then get distracted banking your ships on the stand when you maneuver them with a bank.

Guys, guys. Everyone knows magnets work because they're miracles.
