So I talked to my local game store yesterday to see when The Bespin Gambit and the corresponding ally packs will arrive in stores, and I was told that although they are scheduled to arrive in store next Thursday or Friday (5/26 or 5/27), that according to their distributor, the street date for the product is June 15th.
Now I know that our store sometimes gets FFG product a week before the official street date, and that they are diligent about not letting it be sold before then, but it's always been no more than a week before the street date, and if the street date is indeed June 15th, then that will be 3 weeks they will have to hold the product in the back room. This could indeed be the case, but it just seems out of the norm.
Personally I don't care about waiting, as we have our local Regional on June 4th, and I really don't want all new stuff to worry about going up against, when we as a group will have zero time to practice with the new product ahead of time. But I'm wondering if some of you are able to talk to your local game store to see if the June 15th street date seems to be correct.
