I love that fact that my theory was right!
The timing of wave 4's release (late Q3) I think also makes it very clear that they WANTED to have these ships in wave 3, but couldn't make it happen. There's no other reason for the "missing" SKUs to show up and also have them so close to the previous wave.
Makes total sense, and FFG probably know the community would freak out soon without a release soon so they released half of it instead of waiting. But it did them no good, people still freaked out.
Lol ; yeah I was one of the few that freaked out too...FFG did a wise move on releasing news after the wave 3 was already being on the boat...Traded a section of ships and almost all of my Space Rocks debris sets for Dropzone Commander armies...

No way I really wanted them to be clear dice and salty tears.
I'm really floored at the Wave 3 and then 4 being so close. I'm concerned if it means a long break after Q3 2016, but it really just shot alot of rejuvenation into the game.

Loving yourself is apparently very important for Mental Health.
I think this follows the idea that they were having holdups in their supply chain, and they didn't want to announce what that weren't sure would be ready. As soon as it looks clear they announce it as wave four to make sure people don't think FFG was screwing with them with wave 3. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a couple more items later in the summer. That would make it all add up to about one normal sized release
Well better late than never, now I can have more wedges in my fleet of angry space wedges.
