Honestly I couldn't be more thrilled right now! Seems Armada is still not going to see the production levels of X-Wing, but taking 4 expansions and splitting them up over 2 waves helps relieve the feelings of anxiety that me and other friends of mine were having. Now we can have more than 1 wave a year, and still see stuff on the horizon! And what GOOD stuff it is!

Is anyone else thinking "Hmmm, the Empire now only has 1 Large ship to the rebels' 2!" Granted you can simply field 3 ISDs and the rebels' MC80s are really just 2 different configurations of the same GENERAL type of ship.... but it makes me wonder if the Finalizer isn't coming a bit sooner?!?!

And finally another MEDIUM ship! And we are close to having some REAL variety in the game! (I mean variety in terms of ship models, the way it "looks"). Really looking forward to when we have at least 8 different ship models per factions!

I am officially Hyped now! I formally apologize for being a "sky is falling" naysayer. I feared we would end up having to wait another year or two for news of this quality! Well done FFG!

You might need several villages. Might I suggest playing Empire at War.

OH that reminds me. We now have 3 out of the 4 ships being released coming from Empire at War.

I for the life of me cannot understand why people want the production level of Xwing. For the sake of balanace, cost, meta/counter meta play, stability, not a masssive entry barrier, keep up the current rate of production.

It's just to get caught up. With what's out right now, I can fit one of every ship model in a build and have lots of points left over. Personally, I am a very visual gamer and LOVE to see variety in models. Once we get about 8 models per faction, then I'll be fine with slowing down a ton.

Like, X-Wing could slow to a snail's pace right now and I'd be fine with that as well. X-Wing has a TON of variety and I love it, but at the same time don't need 12 expansions a year anymore from THAT game.

They ARE a cool tool... I think my real beef with them is that they have crossover with X-Wing. I get more excited about ships that I don't see in X-Wing.

One of the (many) reasons why I stopped playing X-WING. Too much to choose from to the point where I was getting a headache, not to mention the cost. The last time I was playing at my local league, I was in a match where none of the ships looked like anything from the movies; one of the MtG players came over and asked if this was a new game. We said it was X-wing and he said that he had no way of telling. I realize that they need to keep new ships coming both for profit and the long term health of the game, but for me it felt like it was losing its soul when no one was using X, Y, A, or B wings, or any recognizable Imperial fighters.
