Use a-wings, that way you can try out other EPTs and PTL at the same time!

I'm liking Juke on the TIE Adv Prototype. It really opens the dial up.

im quite the opposite, unless its an intercepter i find it hard to use PTL at all. The stress issue on a great deal of imperial ships can be a real thorn.

There are different ways to get better action economy on other ships. Some upgrades work much better than PTL, because they have the potential to modify multiple rolls without requiring an action.

Wired on Zeta Leader, Juke on Omega Leader. Give them both Comm Relay. They have extra toeksn when they need them, and get dice modification.

Any of the named TIEs or FOs that can't take an EPT is a good way. Backstabber is amazing.

Gunner + FCS on Shuttles or Phantoms gives you better output than PTL could.

Ask yourself why do you PTL so much, is it the token stack or repositioning? Perhaps those things are what you are really addicted to.

This is insightful. It is actually the re-positioning that I am addicted to. I absolutely love being able to boost and barrel roll after moving. Looking deeper into that, it may be because I'm a newer player and fine-tuning my movements makes my dial choices a lot more forgiving. This is also why I like to move last. I'm not very good at "arc-dodging" and this makes it much easier.

I can't convince myself to use any EPT except PTL. I also find myself not playing small ships that don't have an EPT, because they can't have PTL. I'm addicted. Please help! Convince me that something else is better.

Are you talking Casual games or Tournament games?

Would be more for Tournament games. I have no problem trying out things or doing weird builds just for fun in casual play. In fact, I'm more likely to do that. However, when things get serious, it's PTL time.

have a laugh with large ships and expert handling it will help wean you off of PTL by making you have fun with weird and unusual combinations

I've been doing the similar with EU 've been using it far to much and I feel it has a bad effect on your game unless you try other things

OK....what about Scum? You can go with Guri in a list. She uses her action to reposition and gets her free Focus. You can also give her either Lone Wolf or Predator for dice modification.
