Descent Storage Solution - Cards, Tiles, and Tokens ONLY

By SpawnGarret, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I've already got my minis stored in foam box, so I need smth to organize map tiles/cards/tokens.

Which Plano boxes and how many do I need for that?

If you have a Walmart near by, you should be able to find a dozen different Plano cases in their sporting goods section. A quick browse of their wares is likely all you need to determine which case is best suited to your needs. I would imagine a 3700 series would be a good start.

Walmart in my area doesn't seem to have it, so I'd rather order them from Amazon - therefore I'd like to know which particular ones I need. I got all Descent small/bix box expansions

There is a whole section for storage in the pinned useful links topic.

That being said, I only really have "extra" storage for my minis. I bought a bunch of baggies and I keep all of my cards in the layrinth of ruin box. I keep all tiles (grouped approximately by size in bags)in the core set box. Tokens are kept in two akro-mills brand small storage boxes:

In one, I keep search, villager, objective, secret room, challenge, and crumbling tokens. In the other, I keep wound, fatigue, threat, condition, infection tokens. I store hero/class tokens with the minis, but they could be kept in a third box.

For my tiles and manuals I store them in a portable hanging file box. I bought a set of hanging files and labeled them in groups of ten to separate the tiles.

Personally I bought a plano 7771 tackle box off amazon. I have been able to squeeze all the figs and cards into it. there is a large pouch section that I place my cards in. I haven't found a solution beyond placing them in plastic bags. I hear a fatbox from Magic should work but I don't play magic so I have not chased one down yet. Like mentioned before the tile pieces and related things fit in a hanging file box.

The only issue with the Plano 7771 is that it has four trays which for me has worked out but it has gotten tighter for the large figures tucked in the top. Worth the hassle to only have to carry two cases in for game night.
