Only 3 TIE Fighters and 3 TIE/FO. I'm poor... ;(

How many Special Forces TIE Fo Fo's do we need gang?

I'm thinking three to start...

I was thinking 2, but will probably get 3.

Depends on what the new system upgrade does...

TIE Census:

- 7 TIE Fighters (but I bought a total 15 - 8 went to my brother when he started)

- 4 TIE/fos

... needs more shields and hyperdrives

Probably going to get one Tie/sf, that way I will have 1 sf and 3 fos, making a nice squad of 4.

10 regular ties only because I had 8 then got the ones that came with the Gonzanti, 5 F/Os

Solid replies gang, for the most part. You do not need more than six to be real, unless you are playing X-EPIC. I play almost exclusively that way so I have a bunch of most of the ships for the strategic value.

Basically I am doing classic miniatures battles with the game. We can all enjoy this in our own way...

So here's the thing:

Imperial Small ships come in groups of 3. I just... that's how this works. So I was the guy with 3 TIE Advanced before they even started designing the Raider.

So yes, I have 6 TIE FOs: 4 from the 2 New!Core sets and 2 from the standalone blister.

Currently I have 4 TIE fighters from the Old!Core set, and 2 TIE Fighters from the standalone blisters. That's 2 groups of 3 and that's all good. But!

Then I got myself a Gozanti. The Gozanti is a thing of beauty and I heart the TIE Fighters it comes with. However. It comes with 2. 6+2=8, and 8 is not divisible by 3. And... that's a problem. Do you see the problem?

The only solution is to get 2 more Gozantis...

77 TIEs. Y U NO 100 TIEs!?!

I've been thinking of expanding a full /sa squadron and to roleplay it as a Ground Support unit, but that involves me getting in again when I don't want to buy more miniatures for games I don't play.

5 TIEs, 3 Advanced, 4 Interceptors, 2 Bombers, 1 Defender, 2 Phantoms, and 5 /FOs; Imperial veterans will swell the ranks....
