Ciena Ree
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I mean, yay, she'll be a card and stuff, but for the one game I have so little interest in is a little bitter-sweet. Here's hoping she comes to X-Wing eventually too.
Also, I guess it's good news for the Armada peeps that there will be more expansions. It seemed like there was some concern about that.
I think the concern is tied to the terribly small Wave III FFG is putting out, which they've confirmed will only be two expansions, one for each faction. Not that there wouldn't be any more waves after that.
Not that there wouldn't be any more waves after that.
That was actually said a number of times on the Armada board when there was the long drought of information after Wave 2. It was every other week or so that someone would post something about support for Armada being dropped and the line discontinued.
Can someone help me understand what I am looking at on the right side of this image? I'm assuming it's a part of the interceptors wing, but my eyes are having trouble getting it to fit to the form of the fighter.Since I couldn't see the video here, I looked aorund and grabbed this from Twitter:

Damnit. It's the Gold Squadron Pilot all over again. Cannot be unseen. That panel is off by like 30 degrees.
Do...do you guys not know how perspective works?
No I do, that's why I asked someone to help me see what isn't triggering with my eyes for some reason.

could be that it is levitating off the ground a bit.

That wins definitely off by a few degrees. If the wing was correct she couldn't do that pose without being blocked. Big indicator is how much of the wing spars you can see on her side compared to their position on the other.

Guys guys guys..... The image was captured with an Imperial GoPro on wide angle setting. She's getting ready to attach the camera to her wing and make an awesome Rebel-Hunting video for her YouTube channel.

That would be such a cool video.
The viewer is definitely at hip height for some reason but the angles all check out.

"
The character was revealed in the latest episode of
The Star Wars Show
and the image was ordered for use by Fantasy Flight Games, a company making
Star Wars
table top games.
Recently, Fantasy Flight Games
confirmed
that they will include Ree in an expansion for
Star Wars: Armada.
This could mean that the character could be part of the franchise’s
future projects. It’s certainly interesting to see these “bad guys” given more texture personality, just like Vader. Hopefully, there’s more to come of these physical manifestations."

They have to bring her to xwing it'd be foolish not to
I seem to recall that she spent more time in the book being a pilot than on a capital ship. She would have been right out of the academy when Rogue One is set. It might make sense to release her as an Imperial pilot in whatever wave or expansion Rogue One stuff drops. They'll probably not have many named Imperial pilots in that movie.
If they are bringing her to Armada in the form of more squadron packs I'm gonna cry. Honestly that game only has 4 Imperial ships right now, but has a bajillion squadrons. No more squadrons until we get like 8 ships minimum per faction please!

Hear hear, more ships, not pinpricks on the radar.
wait wdf. armada??? I just read that twitter thing. Wdf???

What's confusing to you, here? (Genuine question, not sarcasm.)

That's correct. She spends a lot if time in an Interceptor in Lost Stars.
Off-topic: If you liked Lost Stars, you really MUST read Bloodline.
Back On-Topic: Bloodline has two new bad-ass pilots and a possible new ship type.

I like Lost Stars much better than Bloodlines. I think it's because it showed the SWU from the perspective of the real people. Major characters didn't really show up as anything more than cameos. Bloodlines wasn't bad but I think it spent too much time making callbacks to the movies. Lost Stars tied into the movies since you see the affect that major events had in the lives of the book's protagonists but Bloodlines did it with rapid fire references.
Why is an ISD captain posing like that? Maybe she had an accident and had to by cyborged and that explains the need to stand like that. Or we need to be reminded she has a booty and curves.
Or a mouse Droid with a selfie stick.
Okay, I couldn't not do this.
Do any of you watch that new Star Wars Show thing? Their little mouse droid just got named CH-33Z, which is super appropriate here.

She is being released for Armada not x wing
She is being released for Armada not x wing
There are reports for both games. Even if one or more reports had an inaccuracy, we don't have ANY reports that say she's NOT being released for X-Wing. Could be both. She may be released for every Star Wars game FFG has for all we know.
