By WarriorPoet, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Trying to come up with a new twist on my Bounty Hunter Bros. list that allows for usage of ordnance, I've come up with this so far. Feedback appreciated!

I like the use of Emon, though I think the bomb you ate choosing is not the best. Maybe try swapping Gonk or Glitterstim for something else and fitting at least Thermal Detonators on there. Personally I think he does better with Cinder Net or Cluster Mines. Proxy Mines if your in s pinch. With the crazy places bombs can end up from him, it may be worth trying to find those extra points somewhere. All in all though, a nice list. I'd like to see how it plays.

I personally would not put missiles or torps on Emon, I would use the Andrasta title and load him up with bombs..

Dengar (33):

  • Predator (3)
  • Recon Specialist (3)
  • R5-P8 (3)
  • Punishing One (12)

Total: 54 pts

Emon Azzameen (36):

  • Conner Net (4)
  • Experimental Interface (3)
  • Intelligence Agent (1)
  • Slave 1 (0)
  • Extra Munitions (2)

Total: 46 pts

You don't have to stress Dengar for double mods and he becomes much more defensive.

Emon doesn't have an EPT slot. With ExInter, you take an action then drop a bomb. Intel Agent lines up your drops against aces and helps to decide which action will be better for the turn. Conner sets up shots for Dengar (can be Cluster, if you prefer).

Okay, question. If I bomb a higher PS pilot with a Conner Net before he gets to move, does the Ion effect happen that turn (since he hasn't revealed his maneuver yet) or the following turn?

No. The ion efect is resolved the next turn.

Thanks for the feedback! I don't have Thermal Detonators, Cluster Mines, or the Andrasta title. I'm taking these ideas into consideration and hope to have a revised list ready to post tomorrow.

I'm going to give this one a spin soon, hopefully, and see how I like it. What would you think of swapping out Intelligence Agent for Inertial Dampeners on Emon? I'd really like to try Tactician on him, but can't fit it in this build.
