Doughnut yt1300

By starrius, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Ok guys I had a stupid idea and I want to know if it works.

YT-1300: •Han Solo (60)

Engine Upgrade (4)

•Millennium Falcon (1)

Daredevil (3)

•Kyle Katarn (3)

•Kanan Jarrus (3)

Move then perform daredevil maneuvre which is a white maneuvre so causes you stress causing kanan to kick in causing you to lose stress and gain a focus.

Does this work this way??????

That still didn't fully clear it up has there been a ffg comment to this interaction especially with the fan with rudor

Kanan triggers before the stress is added.

Has there been a response from FFG yet? Has anyone submitted this to them?

Poor Rudor, he didn't mean to cause so much trouble.....

(The latest FAQ has really made a mess of things, in my opinion)

That hasn't been decided yet. It depends if the stress after the white 1 turn is a 'trigger event' with the same timing as Kanan's 'after a white maneuver' trigger, allowing the player to choose the order of resolution.

I would say if Gunner can resolve after a miss/hit TLT then Kanan can clear stress after DD.

TLT has been FAQd such that its second attack shares a trigger with Gunner.

"Do X, then Y" cards have not been FAQd such that the Y part's trigger is "after the X part".

Why must the two be linked?

Because the new rules place any 'items' that resolve at the same time (have the same trigger) into a 'pool' in which the player who has initiative chooses the order the 'items' are resolved, then the player without initiate chooses he order of his 'items' to be resolved. At least that's how it's been interpreted.

That's how it has always worked.

The new rules moved the second attack of a "perform this attack twice" from a second step, after completely resolving the first attack, to the same "after attacking" step that other actions trigger off. This is why there is a question about TLT and Gunner.

The new rules specifically apply to "perform this attack twice" cards, not to other multi-step cards like Daredevil.
