Automatically test...That's no mean feat

I think my smart phone's auto correct is messing with me again. . .
Weird thing occurring on Vassal at the moment. I am using Vassal 2.5 but I cant see the Flotilla cards. It could be that they are using 2.4 in the original game and now 2.5 but I am unsure.
I am getting this message.
"This game was saved with extension 'ArmadaExtension_Wave3_-_0.5.0' loaded. You do not have this extension loaded."

Looks like I renamed the flotilla card graphics, so older versions of it won't display. Must have done it before I went to France and forgotten about it.
Just grab a new one from pieces and you should be ok.
OR: Extact the old shipcard files and add them to the new module.
The old ones are shipcard_medium-transports.png and shipcard_combat-retrofits.png (the new ones add gr75 after shipname_)

That happens when you load older savegames. That extension is no longer needed or supported.

Found in one of my games that Interdictor total not exhaust. Might want to check those that do exhaust

That's because this is an older card definition*. If you check 2.2.5 you'll see that this error was fixed ![]()
* Vassal is a bit peculiar in that it saves the card definitions; so updating the MODULE doesn't fix older card definitions in save games.
Minor note:
The arcs and LoS dot placement for wave 3/4 are approximations. I'll have to wait until I have the actual models before I can get them 100% correct.
You go Green Knight! Thanks!
I have a version 2.2.6 ready with the new CC preview cards.
Unfortunately the Vassal site has decided all my edits need to go to moderation.
Even my forum posts need moderation.
What a load of c.
Edited by Green KnightI agree, It will be a wonderful load of C......orellian Conflict goodness.
Module v2.2.6 is up:
Changelog:
- Corellian Conflict preview added
- squadrons have a yellow central dot, much like a LoS dot (helps facilitate LoS measurements for squads)
I'm having issues with the Vassal site, so I've create a mirror site on my old gaming blog:
http://www.twilightpeaks.net/blogs/index.php/1TP/2016/07/23/vassal-sw-armada-module-v22x
Direct DL for module:

Edited by Green KnightWill we see the campaign itself on Vassal?
Will we see the campaign itself on Vassal?
I certainly hope so.
Vassal has support for multiple table, so I could add a campaign table, with all the necessary areas and triggers.
I haven't figured out everything yet, but it should be doable.
I'll have to research some more and test some possible solutions before I can be absolutely sure.
But other than the time required I can't really see any reason why it can't be done.
Plans for the future:
2.3.x --> general graphics update
2.4.x --> support for campaign play
Not sure if anybody's brought this up, but Lando could use a Discard option.

Thanks.
Added as a fix to 2.2.7
Personally, I would like to see different range colors. Just the opaque being varied makes it hard to judge distances. . . Oh, and a way to turn the dice lasers off!

Yeah, I'll redo the distances. Not sure exactly how they'll end up, only better.
You can mute any application through your pc's volume mixer.

On the subject of audio....
There are those of us on other operating systems than that one made by the evil software company of the pacific north west. Ergo, I'd appreciate it if you'd reconsider this.
Thanks!
I've finally manage to figure out how to make auto-reports that tell what king of command/defense token is being manipulated.
Expect to see this in the next build.
If you want to have a sneak peek at things to come, you can grab the 2.2.9 BETA:
http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Star_Wars:_Armada
Remember that 2.2.6 is the most current official build. The beta is more of a teaser of things that might come (but I'll be very happy to hear any feedback you might have).
Key changes:
- more accurate auto-reports (command/defense tokens report type of token used, for example)
- quick-spawn of units and cards: grab a ship or squadron card, then use the right-click menu to spawn the corresponding ship, command stack and every available upgrade
2.2.9 is the last of the 2.2.x line I've worked on: the module is now with ransburger, who will update some of the graphics. The module will then be thoroughly tested before official release as 2.3.0.

You can also just open the module with an archive application, go to the sound folder and delete the sound files.
