Kindred Fire

I'm wondering if we'll begin seeing campaign expansions for each lieutenant.

I hope FFG realized that many of us would consume the Rise of all Goblins campaign pretty quickly. I hope we begin to see more campaigns for this app!

Yes, yes and I will be all for it- once they release the Steam version.

actually I would prefer the steam version too.... much easier to pay for me...

(you can't use PayPal as a german in iTunes....) ;)

I just hope they release it soon!! I've got the bug :)

Yeah I'm waiting for the steam version as well. But I think they will release the steam version at the latest when this campaign releases.

Me too, I've been playing almost non-stop since Thursday. :o

Guys... guys... GUYS!!!

The app is using so many of my unused monster groups for open groups. It even spawned Lava Beatles in the room with the lava tiles.

I got invaded twice by Trystane Olliven... this app is kicking my groups ass!

I'm ... so... happy!!! :D  :P ^_^

For my group the first quest and the two side quests were pretty easy, but the final was not possible... (there was a travel event in which we saved some people from tentacles (?) and got to role 2 red dices and take that as damage and every hero had more than 4 damage).

It was pretty fun, because we opened a room and 5 goblins and 5 imps spawned in there and two golems in the corridor we were in respawned. We had no "real healing" going on, because we only had the bard which healed 1 HP and 1 fatigue every round....

Fun thing is: we knew after every hero started with less than half their base health in the quest we were doomed to fail.... still it was super nice to play as a hero. :D

I think I will buy EVERY campaign they produce... even if they wouldn't be as good as the Heirs of Blood, just because it was even super fun to lose... if that makes even sense

Totally makes sense to me. I haven't even touched Heirs of Blood or Mists of Bilehall (waiting for Chains) and I own everything out so far.

Even if you haven't had the chance to play through a box campaign the app rewards you by using the Monsters, conditions, Shop items, Heroes and Classes.

It seems like the collection page mentions each expansion also gives you a side quest. I'm guessing those will be available for the full priced campaigns like Kindred Fire. Besides a random dungeon generator not being supported, I am VERY pleased with this app so far.

I could do without that Deadly Peril that said to apply 14 Damage to our Heroes automatically... be we were taking a LOOOOONG time, thanks again Trystane

Yeah... sometimes you only get poor roles on your dices and that single monster blocking the path takes like forever to die....

And after an epic heroically fought battle you get a peril and you lose.....

Better keep moving heros..... ^_^

If we dont get a random dungeon generator in the next campaings, I would love to see dungeons with multiple paths and quests that affects the story (if you fail a objective in one quest, its cause a consequence in another one, for example).

Some speculation from this:

City Action: Each city has a unique action that players can resolve. For example, in Tamalir, players can advance the campaign by one week and spend 150 gold to give 1 XP to one hero.

Campaigns with big maps maybe???

I would like to see this as well!

In the Rise of all Goblins Finale there is a small taste of this as you can find Splig before you finish searching the other side of the map. It's not a big deal, but if they can include that in the tutorial then I can see them making maps with dead ends, multiple paths and the like

We got wiped out in the Throne room battling Splig, we went injured and with no Morale left. :P

Didn't help that those Razorwings kept spawning behind us, the Master Goblin Archer was shooting us with no LoS required and getting a +1 to damage for each gobbo minion adjacent to him and that Splig had himself a trio of Crow Hags as bodyguards. Because in a game like this who doesn't love it when you get -1 to your Heal rolls?

Yep, but will nice too see more. Every bit of replay value that they put its welcome.

+ 100 to Agree Roll

That actually made me think the same.... if you are supposed to spend "weeks" on stuff like this in a full campaign you got to have many weeks ---> much to do... like many side quests and stuff...

That is good reasoning there.... If they included that in the tutorial it's got to be a part of at least a few missions in the "full campaigns" they offer... and I can't wait to see what FFG got in mind with "Kindred Fire" :D

I'm still waiting for all the nay sayers and doom and gloomers to poke their heads out of their holes and admit they were wrong :)

I generally like people to sing their apologies to me, but just in writing is fine :D

It seems to me that similar to what you find in the RtL from D1st Ed, you are going to be traveling from towns, to side quests to story missions to side quest that are expansion exclusive (as you can see on the image from OP). Who knows if they might even slip in some random encounters as well. This is a freebie to give us a taste. They've expanded the scope of the co-ops to include shopping and travel. This app seems to very much be offering what they promised a fully co-op campaign mode.

Once they get our money we'll get a full campaign, much like the quest guides for the base set and each expansion so far. I'm very impressed so far, and since it's an app we can expect bugs and fixes to said bugs. And more content to reward us for the physical content we've purchased already.

I can only see you hating this if you only like playing Overlord, of which there are many campaigns already available and Mist of Bilehall is one that was centered on giving OL players all the goodies, Chains that Rust (besides the new Hybrid classes) seems to be going that route as well. I say the more Descent stuff the merrier. I'm loving everything so far!

... Now give daddy his Kindred Fire, I need to chase Merrick Farrow down before he burns down all the good taverns in Terrinoth!

Have anyone tried writing to FFG and tried luring out some information about Kindred Fire (whether it will appear in like a month, 3 months, or half a year?)

email every 5 mins with ("is it out ye.. is it out yet?.." and "whats coming next whats coming next?")

I'm going to the uk games expo in a few weeks where the FFG CEO is supposed to be attending at their booth, so I'm going to hassle them until I get the update. And point out the lack of community support here!

In a nice way :)

I'm not falling in your trap  I passed my awarness test ;) ...Oh ****, it is true hehehe I had to test knowledge instead... hahaha

It look's interesting, the map actually look quite big. Also, if you look carefully you can spot tile 53A (corresponding to SoN exp) in the bottom right corner, meaning that either this is the map for the side ques t for Shadow of Nerekhall ( huge spoiler now that I know maps are fixed and static) OR this is a main quest in the campaign and the tile was used instead of one of the core set, which then means maps aren't static at all and we could have maps with different tiles from quest to quest (at least some parts of the map).
