Scyk Fix

The latest Alex Davy interview on the Scum and Villainy podcast had him discussing fixes to the Scyk. He said that he thinks reducing the cost for 1 point and adding 1 hull to the Heavy Scyk would make it cost effective. I have integrated these ideas into a single Modification Card.

Mk II Scyk

M3-A Interceptor only Modification

When you equip a "Heavy Scyk" Interceptor Title upgrade, increase your hull value by 1. You may equip up to 2 different Modification upgrades.

Cost: -1

The exra mod slot will allow you to equip Guidance Chips for the Heavy Scyk's ordinance.

I kind of like that Squints get two mods and A's get two EPT's. Would rather the Scyk get something else if it doubles down.

Not sure if you mean to allow two further mods or just not count the title mod as the mod.

An elicit slot would be fine with me (as well as new illicit upgrades). They have an ok dial and action bar so I think the cost is what needs addressed most, but adding something as well would be welcome in my eyes.

Really I think the fix is to just make a new title altogether to avoid using the mod slot in the first place, seems like a lot of cards to throw on the table when they could just make a new title.

I have been playing some mostly Scyk lists lately with mindlink, and they have proven fun but there is just a little something missing to make them worthwhile.

I like the idea, but I think it should be something affecting also Scyks without titles. Most interesting Scyks are the ones equipped with Ion or Mangler, or just plain without title. If I want cheap ordnance carrier, I would take Z95. They are better for that

I added the additional mod bc taking up a mod slot would mean a Heavy Scyk that chooses a torpedo or missile slot couldn't equip Guidance Chips, making those choices terrible.

Now, I could have simply made it a Title instead. "Super Heavy Scyk" was joked about in the interview, but doing it as title card would either make the old title card obsolete, or require a double tile clause.

Fixed! And scum 'interceptors' get double titles to go with double mods and EPTs on the real interceptors.
