Would rather take Biggs with R2-D6 instead of Ibtisam
Anyone have a decent B Wing squad list?
Not calling this a good list, but I am trying it out. Been suggested to me to trade out a Dagger for Biggs.
MidgetPack (99)
Dagger Squadron Pilot — B-Wing 24
Fire-Control System 2
Proton Torpedoes 4
Extra Munitions 2
Guidance Chips 0
Ship Total: 32

Ran this at the Portland Regionals (I am not a great pilot and never flew Biggs).
Besides falling asleep at the wheel against the Top 4 place (3rd game) and rolling 44 dice for 4 hits on my last game, I did pretty much ok except against a double Ghost list (modified loss) in the first round that placed 9th overall (nearly 60 participants). So yes...ended up with a 2-1-3 record...but actually very close to a 5-1 record...really close. With a decent pilot...could be much better.
I performed well with that one :
Prototype Pilot (17) A-Wing (17), Chardaan Refit (-2), Autothrusters (2)
Blue Squadron Pilot (31) x 2 B-Wing (22), Fire-Control System (2), Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Airen Cracken (21) Z-95 Headhunter (19), Squad Leader (2)
Cracken is here to stick with the B's and give them actions to allow late repositionning or to secure focus+TL, and the A is here for blocking/annoyingness (and anyway we don't have a lot of solutions in that price range). It packs quite a punch.
And actually for 33 points (1 less than the other 2 builds), and something within the last 5 minutes Ive gotten somewhat excited about trying myself, is Keyan Farlander with Adv Sensors and Rage.
In fact, you could Activate sensors to do Rage, get a focus token, perform a green move, shed a stress, then shed another stress to activate pilot ability AND take advantage of 3 dice mods on his primary weapon leaving you with no stress at the end of combat. Ive only used rage a few times and it was on Tycho or TIE fighters and I always hated that unless at range 1 I never got to use all 3 dice mods

Sorry but Push The Limit is the far better option here for 2 more points. You get Focus and Target Lock and are not dependent on your dial. Additionally you can save your target lock for another attack.
You simply need more ships and more hull. Sorry, but the named pilots on the Bwing have not done well at all competitively. (As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Hey, my b-wing is recording near 28 kills.)
I'm pondering this list at the moment, although I might be trying to double-down on the stress mechanic a bit too much. Ideally I'd like Stay on Target on both Keyan and Ibtisam, but to do that I'd need to drop Extra Munitions off Nera.
I placed second in a tournament last weekend with this squad.
Wes Janson

Integrated Astromech
Keyan Farlander
Heavy Laser Cannon
Opportunist
Gray Squadron Pilot Y-Wing
BTL-A4 Y-Wing
R3-A2

I recently played one pretty close (at least for the opportunist/Wes combo) :
Biggs Darklighter + R2-D2 + Integrated Astromech
Wes Janson + Draw Their Fire + R5-P9 + Integrated Astromech
Keyan Farlander + Opportunist + Fire-Control System + B-Wing/E2 + Jan Ors
You lose the stress mechanic from the stresshog, but Biggs with evade really makes the two others durable (plus damage mitigation from Janson and DTF).
4Bs and a Z....
I find it really hard to build a Rebel list and not include
Keyan Farlander
B-Wing/E2
Kyle Katarn
Push the Limit
Fella always has a focus!
I often match him with Ello Asty and Arvyl as blocker.
I like flying four of these as a swarm of sorts:
25 Green Squadron Pilot - A-Wing (19), Assault Missile (5), Guidance Chips (0), Prototype Pilot (0), Deadeye (1) or Crackshot (1)
I'm a big fan of 4 Blues with FCS and Tractor Beam. The concept is easy:
1. fly in close formation
2. point 4 guns at something
3. Use back ship's tractor beam to drop AGL and hopefully draw into range 1 of front ships
4. rain heckfire
5. repeat as needed
I only own one B-Wing so I've never had a "list" with "them", but I had my proverbial butt handed to me by this list a week or so ago (ouch!):
36 Miranda Doni – K-Wing (29), Homing Missiles (5), Extra Munitions (2), Guidance Chips (0), Chopper (0)
32 Dagger Squadron Pilot – B-Wing (24), Proton Torpedoes (4), Extra Munitions (2), Fire Control System (2), Guidance Chips (0)

Out of curiousity, how does PtL make me less dial dependent? In your example, you're ending up with a focus token and a TL, where presumably you shed stress during the attack, open dial next turn. With rage you end up with focus token, rerolls, and after shedding stress an open dial next turn. Are you meaning it's because you have to do a green move after Adv Sens? I can agree with that. But like you said, PtL is also 2 points more expensive, and the TL you have only works against that one target, whereas the Rage rerolls works against anyone in your arc.

That looks solid.
Another combo I am planning to try soon is:
Keyan + Intimidation + B-Wing/E2 + "Zeb" Orrelios
I played against a Ibti with wired and Hera. It was very solid.
I'm loving Keyan with Rage, Proton Torpedoes, FCS & E2/Hera. I've managed to lay a couple of Rage driven torpedo salvoes into some otherwise slippery targets and it's been beautiful.
I let Wes or Poe strip shields and/or tokens then Keyan sends home a fully modifiable shot. It's been really effective thus far.
