Wave 8: A fantastic wave!

And I agree with the OP, lots to love in this wave.

Scouts are not overpowered, I have it calculated:

3 x scout = autowin

3 x scout = autowin / divide by "out"

3 x sc = awin/out / (in/out) = 0

3 x sc = aw x 0

3 = 0

INCORRECT!

Fully one quarter of the lists in top fours we have data for are scouts. The notion that they only get there because their opponents suck is absurd. It is the single most common list in the top four, the gitgud stance is not supportable.

Because that hasn't been the way since wave 2 when the new toys are released :D

It's the way the game is, they are the current boogie man, next wave they won't be because something else makes the sky fall. They can be countered by knowing how they fly, learn that, and much like most lists, they fall.

no, seriously, I'm telling you TLT's are broken and are ruining the game. How you can't see it is beyond me.

I shouldn't have to adapt to crap. I like the wave 8 meta alot sans Palp Aces (and Dash), but we had to have this argument about Phantoms and stupid fat turrets.

"phantoms aren't broken just throw dice at it or fly a turret bro."

"fat turret point fortresses aren't broken, they lose to swarms. Phantoms beat swarms and turrets beat phantoms and swarms beat turrets see the game is balanced."

Adaptholes have been holding this game back.
