My guess is that Snoke is Snoke.
He certainly looks like Snoke.
Ezra is essentially the same age as Luke.
He could be... The Emperor went into a quite dramatic transformation when he wasn't suppressing the dark side anymore. Same thing could of happened to Ezra. Its pretty clear from the season finale he's going to go dark.
Snoke was around during the CW, Ezra was not.

While Maul having been Snoke's master would certainly explain why Snoke and the Knights of Ren are specifically not Sith, there's one problem with the Ezra theory. Snoke isn't human.

Snoke is Darth Jar Jar's apprentice. After Palpatine failed as Darth Jar Jar's evil apprentice, he found someone even uglier to be the new dark lord.

If LFL is telling the truth, and hes a thousand years old, the Son would fit that bill, if he did survive Anakin ganking him.
We still don't know who the guy who plays as Star Killer played as in this movie, last i checked there's a tight lid on who he played as. Since he played as the Son in the CW series they could have brought him back to continue with that roll. I don't recall they guy doing motion capture for Snoke also being his voice actor.

He voiced a Stormtrooper. There is a picture with Witwer with all the voices that did recording. So, a line, maybe some grunts. Probably done while he had to do his Rebels stuff.

Nah the Son's out of the question, while he is chaotic and dark sided (and dead), taking over the remnants of a stagnant empire doesn't seem like something he'd do.
