The idea is to shore up existing weaknesses in the Dev and future weaknesses in the Demo by passing tokens to the big ships from behind. The on-demand shield regen and movement from the engineering token, getting back navs to activate Demo, etc. And since they're worth only 25 points each, it's not a great risk to follow into the hornets nest and risk losing a ship.

In all honesty, I don't think it could work, and that's because you only field 5 activations and 5 deployments, thus giving your opponent all the space he needs to deploy.

Also, 3 of said 5 activations are support ship, so you're basically preying your over upgraded demolisher and isd do all the lifting. All in all, I don't mean to sound harsh but this looks like an attempt to move the dreaded clonisher into wave 3, but you're fielding too few threats to make it work.
