Hi there!

I was playing Arkham Horror this weekend, and had to battle an Undead creature (Zombie). At the back of the monster marker, it says "Undead" in bold letters, but I can't find any reference to Undead abilities in the manual (like I owuld with Nightmarish etc). Can anyone assist ?

Stuff related to Undead, using that keyword is found on Items (Cross), investigators (Jim Culver) and Mythos cards.

The Undead keyword doesn't have any inherent effects by itself. Items, spells, etc that can be used against monsters may have special properties against Undead (or theoretically may be ineffective against Undead, although I haven't seen anything like that myself.)

Oh ok, cool. That explains it then! Thought it was creature characteristic (related to attack or movement) - but I'm on track now. Thanks for your help!
