Hi
I have a huge collection of 1st Edtion Descent, I also have the conversion kit to make it all compatible with Second Editon. Can I add it to my collection to the app?

The rules say it doesn't support the Conversion Kit I believe.

This makes me sad as I only have the base Second Edtion Game.
This bothers me as well. Why have Fantasy Flight chosen to exclude the conversion kit from the Road To Legend app?

Best guess here:
1) Most conversion kit content has already been re-released in the form of H&M packs, so to include the CK would be redundant (with a few exceptions). The rules for the H&M packs already say that they are intended to replace, not supplement, the analogous content from the CK.
2) The H&M packs have minis, the CK doesn't, and the app requires minis.
Yeah, at some point, just like with stuff like software, it's not worth dragging along outdated versions forever.
I don't see apple support iOS 3.0 anymore and and windows has also discontinued support for XP.
If you choose to keep using that older version, you can, but don't expect to be able to use all the new cool apps/programs for newer iOS/Windows versions..
CK was a cheap way to get more content when D2E was new. But now, since many monsters have been changed, its just not relevant anymore.

That makes sense then. They've essentially phased out the conversion kit.
The Conversion kit is outdated now, since almost all monster have been rerelased and rebalanced.

When you get right down to it, the Conversion Kit was only ever a gimmick to convince 1E players to buy in to 2E. A lot of people talk about it like it's an expansion in it's own right, but it never really was an expansion, just a way to convince 1E players that they wouldn't be trashing EVERYTHING from first edition by getting into second.
That purpose has long since been served, and now mostly replaced by the H&M packs.
Why would ffg support a old $30 expansion when it has almost been replaced by $315 of HM packs?
