Does Youngster benefit Tie Advanced and Tie Defenders?

I've been searching for the answer here and I can't get a definite result. Is there one?

Youngsters card says "TIE fighter" but it also works for "TIE/fo" apparently? Is that right? If that's wrong.. then I guess it doesn't work for TIE advanced. But if it's right, then it does?

Nope. He only works for TIE Fighters and TIE/fo Fighters. If he was going to work on them all it would read more like Mk.II Engines and reference the more generic "TIE".

His ability works for TIE Fighters and First Order TIE Fighters only. The rules reference addresses the naming standards for abilities like this and there is a FAQ entry specifically for Youngster.

Oh! I see, TIE/fo has "fighter" afterwards.. So it has "TIE fighter" in it.. just also has a "/fo". I get it now.
