The DeadEye/Proton/Agro/Overclock/Guidance Chip combo however, is bad.
I am still amazed and sad that it made it into the game in the first place.

What about Wes, Arvel with Intimidation, Test Pilot, and Autothrusters,....and something heavy hitting, maybe even Chewbacca and a crew.
Arvel is maneuverable enough to bump often and will roll 3 dice vs. 0 dice, and with any luck staying behind the combat where he's only getting attacked by 2 red turrets which Autothrusters will help against? Just a thought.

Could work, but that's a lot of pressure on Wes to do the killing.
Also DTFing damage from a 2-agi ship onto 3-agi ship might not be a good trade even if it is Wes.
There's a Wes, Biggs, Kanan build in our area that is doing quite well. Biggs keeps Wes alive, Kanan [with RecSpec] keeps Biggs alive.
I honestly favor 3 ship lists, but people seem to hate those right now so I like the Wes, Biggs, Keyan idea, but I like to fly super aces and that's just not the meta so I don't bring those builds up.
Also a list of heavy hitters with Wes if there is any amount of synergy, at least in my little experience is pretty versatile.
I like it. If you can take out a ship early and keep Poe alive, you may have something.
Wes is great, but he needs a great supporting cast too.

Contracted scouts have 5 hull points so they wont receive stress due to flechette torpedoes.
