I just downloaded RtL and started up the tutorial on my iOS iPad. Once with in the tutorial the buttons on the lower right side and the one on the lower left don't seem to have any effect.
Is this a bug? Do the buttons start working later in the tutorial?

Can confirm. Just move through the tutorial quest a bit further. Those buttons become available.
