Haven't played in 2 1/2 months, but hoping to make it there!

You can just show up. Interestingly enough, the store isn't even accepting pre-registration.

And hey, man, don't worry about "losing miserably". I see it as an opportunity to get in 3 games and make some connects with local players. Take away some lessons learned and get better. Only way to really do that is to play as many games as possible!

Yeah, I don't care at all if I lose the games, I'm interested in playing 2 or 3 games and maybe meeting some people who like to play armada. If I accomplish those things, then I'm happy. I'm hosting a friend's bachelor party the night before. It might be a rough morning....

God I hope that Clonisher wannabe shows his ugly mug! I goaded him enough with promises of mixing prescription meds with alcohol after the event, I don't see how he DOESN'T make it

When I called them the other day, they said they open at noon for registration and games started at 1. Maybe I should call and double check that....

Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel is your best bet, it's about a 15 min drive from the store. It's a good area and your chances of being murdered or raped...or....raped and murdered are pretty low.

Not sure when that is but yeah I can make another Columbus run. Torn between WV and MN regionals on the 28th currently, but yeah man see you at Nats.

Nationals in Columbus is being run on 15 & 16 June, a Wed/Thur. I guess they thought puting it at the beginning of that Con was a good idea. Works out for me as it happens to be my days off that month. It'll be interesting to see how many actually attend.

You should make a trek out to the Mothership in Roseville. I gotta imagine that'll be bigger than WV.
