Same here, another week before the event in Taunton/Plainville, MA (two day event, event hall for day 1, at the store for the second day).

Slamming my head against a wall until the 18th, when they need us to submit our lists, though. No idea which of the three archetypes I'm gonna bring (Palp Aces/Deci Ace/NeoDash).

I'll be in Kentucky this weekend for my grandfathers 90th birthday..... Do I skip part of his celebration to drive and hour and a half to play in a regional in a different part of the country than my normal play area.....

Seems like a jab (and an uncalled one at that), but the three lists all fit my play style, and have the bonus of being competitive/efficient.

I don't much care if they're not groundbreaking or original -- that's not what I'm going to bring to a Regional event in my area, and not why I play competitive X-Wing. Love designing lists when playing local/home games, but they honestly don't work in a meta featuring MajorJuggler (among other illustrious folks).

But I'm glad your area is so chill/your player skill is that amaze-balls that that works for you!

whether you go or not....the fact that you looked into what was going on in the area x-wing wise while you are there is pure dedication.

My home regional is this Saturday and I don't know what list I'm taking. I thought I knew, but then I lost three games in a row with the list I thought I would take. Perhaps the force will guide me...
