Can I use Zuckuss multiple times when the reroll was not satisfying?

Let's say I have a TLT shot with 2 hits. Defender rolls 3 dice getting 2 evades. I let him reroll one of his evades for 1 stress. He rolls another evade result. Can I now take another stress and let him reroll the other die which wasn't rerolled yet?

Each die can only be rerolled once, but you can reroll each die once.

However, I would rule that you only get a single opportunity to trigger Zuckuss, so you would have to choose all the dice you want to reroll, and gain all the stress, at the same time. You don't get to trigger him once, check the result, then choose whether or not to trigger him a second time.

("When attacking, you may receive any number of stress tokens to choose an equal number of defense dice . The defender must reroll those dice.")

There is a rules questions forum, by the by, which will get you better answers, usually.

Once per opportunity means once per enemy rolling his green dice

No die can be re-rolled more than once

soooooo nope.

I know that dice can't be rerolled more than once. It was the question if I can use Zuckuss to reroll the other die. Zuckuss is neither an action nor has any restrictions on it. I see no problem using him twice or three times?

It depends on if getting the stress is supposed to happen after each reroll or after all the rerolls. It the way it's worded probably means you should tell him 'reroll this one die' or ' reroll these two dice' or 'reroll all three dice' instead of waiting to see which die finally comes up focus or blank 'during' he rerolls.

You can use him once per opportunity (i.e. once per attack), to reroll as many dice as you like.

Using him twice in a single attack would not be allowed.

I.e. you could use him to reroll both dice gaining two stress. You couldn't use him to reroll one die, gain one stress, see what it came up as, then reroll the other gaining another stress. Subtle but important distinction - you have to commit to how many dice you're rerolling when you first use him, you wouldn't be able to trigger him a second time.

THe wording is very clear - choose a number of stress tokens, reroll that number of dice. You don't have the option to choose 1 stress token, reroll one die, then choose again.
