Sarone EotE Campaign into Hutt Space Recruitment Thread

By Sarone, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I've included all the XP and credit expenditure figures. Looking forward to seeing who gets picked.

The XP and credit expendatures have been at the bottom of my sheet from the start. Let me know if you want any changes.

Also excited to see who gets picked!

I myself am also excited to see who gets accepted.

Fingers crossed!

Looking at it right now. Hopefully it was enjoyable for you in creating the character.

Yeah, I just hope you enjoyed it. I am confused on one thing. You said 24 hours. So we have until Wed? I had a late night work and so was to wiped on doing the sheet. So does the 24 hour deadline mean Wed for the finals? I've updated mine a little. Added Descrip detials, touched up the background some (though I do want to flesh out more elements). And fully fleshed out my Obligations. I think I wanted to develop my characters relationships with his family. And then finally buy equipment. If that is cool.

I believe the best source would either be Far Horizons or Fly Casual. I believe that there is something like that there.

Yeah the one in Fly Casual Cost to much. I was wondering if I could just get a normal jacket and just say it's as long as a duster since the coat in the book has extras that I don't need. I just wanted an armored jacket for protection that looked like a duster.

At any rate assuming Wed is the final cut off the Equipment will be spent.

Added XP and Credit expidenter. I'm using Morality and Obligation.

I noticed that you have as HK-99, I would prefer to change back to Jasen. But, if needed I can play HK-99.

Made some last minute modifications to Edad.

Also added all credit costs fro equipment and detailed XP expenditures in the notes.

About 6 non-reserved applications, so everyone has a ~50% chance of being chosen. Other than those who had a spot reserved.

All XP and credit expenditures are now noted at the bottom of Tion's sheet.
The link from Orokos for my 1d100 walking around money doesn't display properly on swsheets so I'm posting it here.

At the time of this post, there are 11 hours left before the deadline.

Ok, I'll update my tracker sheet. I probably won't update the primary tracker, though.

The applications are for three primary and two alternate spots.

Thank you. I will update the tracker accordingly.

Ok, I just checked the character sheet and it seems like you went for both the extra xp and extra credits. My fault for not clarifying it, but a player can only use on of the "mechanics" for the extra XP/Credits.

It seems like the XP will be more valuable than credits in the long run. If you want, it can be 10 Obligation to the Benefactor and just take the Morality bonus.

You could just by heavy clothing or padded armor and say that it looks like a duster.

I have decided to go with

Sting Wango: Rodian Hired Gun - Enforcer

Sting grew up poor on Rodia in a disgraced clan of failed hunters. His family was deep in debit to the local crime syndicate. He was offered a chance to do some work for the crime syndicate to help pay off some of his clan's debit. To which he agreed. He quickly made a name for himself as a top notch enforcer and collector. Soon he was taking on the role of a lone shark and book maker, a role in which he excelled at given his past reputation as a gang land enforcer. This ensured that he rarely had to collect outstanding markers, but when he did he was sure to visit the mark personally and get the money by what ever means necessary.

With his growing reputation the syndicate moved him to the more fertile location of Nar Shaddaa where he took to his new life like a fish to water. He was able to increase the syndicate's revenue by 30% by quickly showing people that he was not a shylock to be skipped on.

Things were working out well until a Fel Draga, a Neimoidian crime boss that was jealous of Sting's budding fiefdom of crime, convinced Sting's marks that Fel's organization would protect them and renegotiate their payments if they refused to pay Sting.

As can be expected, this soon turned into all out warfare between the 2 factions. During the fighting, the daughter of, Gikk Nogun a Nikto minor crime lord was inadvertently killed when the fighting spilled over in to a market area. While Gikk does not blame Sting directly for his daughter's death, it is still something that he expects Sting to pay him back on.

With Sting coming out on the losing end of the fight, the syndicate withdrew their support and removed him from the organization. The only reason that he is still alive, is that they still may have a need for him in the future once things cool down with Gikk and Fel.

In the mean time Sting has crawled off to a forgotten corner of the Galaxy, where his reputation hopefully has not caught up to him, and crawled inside a bottle and takes odd jobs as strictly hired muscle for the local crime lord.

Motivation: Blood Money: Violence is Sting's Business, which is never in short supply. He knows no other way to make money and treats his bloody work as any other job.

Obligations:

A Score to Settle: Get back at Fel Draga for ruining his reputation - 5 points
Collateral Accountability: Repay Gikk Nogun for the accidental death of his daughter - 5 points
Favor: Party benefactor for taking him on and giving him a chance to redeem himself - 10 Points

As my character. I don't really have a preference for which crime lord we are working for.

[Edit Rearranged the obligations]

Same as my character...you need to take a look at your Obligation section.

You should have 10 obligation earmarked for the benefactor of the group in game, leaving you 10 to tailor to your character's story (if you choose to take on extra obligation).

That's what I figured, I just wanted to make sure that was ok before I did it.

Will update sheet.

I've also listed the spending credits at the bottom of my sheet.

link got a 74

And mine as well

Pocket change: 1d100 92

Of course the gambler got the lowest amount of pocket coin. Haha

It didn't help I had to reconfigure my purchases because I realized Tion didn't own a Sabaac deck. What kind of gambler doesn't have a deck of cards on him at all times?

The kind who carries more loaded chance cubes than a Huttese pleasure barge?

Well, it used to be more, but that podracer that should have won easy died in the pileup, and that's that.

The kind who gambles on sporting events?

Actually scratch my previous. The kind who gambles generally.

Well, yes, I suppose those are all gamblers that wouldn't necessarily keep cards on them.
