I think that there's a big difference between being under a Hutt's thumb, and being one's employee.

And a bigger difference still between being a Hutt's employee and being a Hutt's friend.

In order for you to gain Ardos Disk, the group will need to have accomplish something great and inspiring for the Hutts. That being said, it still won't protect you from other Hutts
