As a lover of aces squadrons, I am of course a fan of the elite rebel daredevils, and have here a themed build from them, that I actually think is reasonably strong, but I wanted you guys to take a look.
Wedge: Push the Limit, BB-8, Engine Upgrade
Wes: Veteran Instincts, R3-A2, Integrated Astromech
Hobbie: Targeting Astromech, Integrated Astromech
Tycho, A-Wing Test Pilot, Expert Handeling, Adaptability, Chardan Refit
Corran Horn: R2-D2, Outmaneuver, Fire Control System
Ibtisam: Advanced Sensors, Elusiveness
I have only run it twice, it did well against an Imperial Aces and mini swarm, lost Tycho early do to bad planning and rolls on my part, but he landed hits before he died. No other losses that game, the bomber couldn't lock and Hobbie protected Wedge from a defender with blocking. Later it took on a Scarlet list with a bunch of thug Y-Wings and Zs. Wedge arc dodged the bombers, and they couldn't lock Tycho, and Wes stripped the worse target locks. Ib just won't die, and demands you focus fire on her if you don't want her shooting, but the other rebels pose such a threat. Corran got lucky and put Scarlet at 1 hull first round, then Wedge finished her next move. No losses on my side that game Anyway, any advice? It's a fun build honestly, I love the early damage and surprising movement, not very survivable, but assuming lots of aces die early, the survivors are great at cleaning up, since Tycho, Hobbie, and Ib all fly a bit off radar.
200 Pt Epic Rogue Squadron
Also to anyone interested I highly recommend this list, because you get the feel of actually being a group of elite aces all workin together to defend one another, hopping in and blocking, or switching up original plans to rescue a ship about to be destroyed, and no 2 of your ships fly alike, so you have a lot of variety.
