The way it has been working there are limited windows to order each kit. I'm pretty sure we ordered ours before the spring kits came in. I haven't seen an announcement for fall kits so far. I believe I read that when they restructure the kits next year and go to four kits a year that you will be able to order more kits during the same time period. If so that will be great. My local store orders theirs and sometimes we could use more. It's difficult to tell how many people we will have show up between league play and game nights. If we are able to order more it will be nice for those times that we have more interest.

Huh. I was trying to stay on top of this with our LGS, and I checked in with them after seeing the FFG post only to be told on several different occasions they were still unavailable. Will be unfortunate if it's actually the case that the window is past already.

That is the deadline for the retailers, not for your FLGS.

Your FLGS should be able to order them through their retailer, if the retailer did not miss the deadline.

They are only available for a short time through our retailer in the southeast, southern distributors. All are preordered from FFG by the distributor. Local shops preorder from the distributor. All orders are done before any stock is recieved. I know my local store was told by southern that any kits he orders are not returnable because they only order what has been preordered through them. There is officially no stock to place an order from because all the stock they recieved was ordered by stores. Once they deadline is reached there is no more. I'm assuming that since they have changed the way they are packed, as of the last kit, that when they go to the new structure next year all of these kits will be direct shipped by asmodee/FFG. I can't really see anyway that you could still order a current kit unless they direct ship. Like I said all are preordered and sold before our distributor ever sees them.

It just seems strange to me, because I know a store that was able to order the Spring 2016 kits only a month ago.

Did they print more Spring kits than summer and the distributors are left with stock?

Thanks for the input everyone. My FLGS's owner just told me that he checked with his distributor and was able to order a few Summer Kits. Apparently even though FFG has stopped taking new orders for Summer Kits at the distributor level, some distributors may still have them available for individual stores to order.

I'll definitely have to check with the LGS tonight then.
