Movement question

By jsilva89, in Star Wars: Rebellion

Hello all,

First time poster with a movement question. Maybe its cut and dry and somehow i'm just missing it.

I understand that the command phase allows you two do one of two things - Play a mission card, or "activate" a system for movement.

I guess my question could be best asked in the form of an example. Please, if you will, tell me if the following scenario would be legal:

I have an X-wing in Dagobah . It is my turn and I play a sabotage mission card in Naboo (adjacent to dagobah). The leader I used to play the mission has tactics values (i think that factors for legal movement purposes). So I complete (or fail) my mission and that character remains in Naboo until the refresh phase. Easy enough.

Now my opponent goes, they do their thing, and now its my turn again. On my turn, without doing anything else, can I move that xwing from Dagobah into the Naboo system because I have a leader present in the system from that previous mission card I had played earlier in the command phase? Or do I have to "re-activate" the system by placing another leader into Naboo?

Thanks folks!

You have to "re-activate" the system. The new leader needs to come from your leader pool.

Technically, going on a mission does not Activate the system. Its going on a Mission. Activations are the other option besides Missions for when its your turn in the Command phase.

Thank you!

You can use the best Space and the best Ground tactic values among the leaders in the system you activate though for combat. It does not matter who activated the system, all allied leaders may be considered when determining starting tactic cards.
