I need help naming a super-weapon.

"Hello Clarisse"

It is only logical and ironically the maw itself is artificial too, and center-point station would be the tool to stop or cause this, at least if I remember my celestial lore right.

Centrepoint station was used to build the correllia system.

There is a smaller version of the centrepoint station inside the MAW called sinkhole station, this is what was used to construct the MAW.

According to Wookieepedia it's inhabited by a force sensitive cult who explore the galaxy by way of psychic projection. Which could make for an interesting plot hook and a way of establishing communication between systems after the death of hyperspace.

Ben. Ben Dover.

An interdiction field.

A galaxy-wide interdiction field?

I guess what I'm looking for is a cool name for a single-use item that would disrupt all of hyperspace for, say, 800-900 standard years.

Oh you mean the Center-point station from the Corilian trilogy from legends canon which isn't single use.

How about calling it a Hyperspace Compactor?

The Hutt Tickler.

The Isolator.

"The Gamebreaker".

"The Deus"

The Einstein: It lets Relativity kick in.

I'm a little surprised no one mentioned this, but:

A Hyperspace Destabilizer is exactly the thing that can and will destabilize hyperspace 100% of the time.

...

But all the hipster kids call it Green Space.

I actually considered that at the very beginning of all this, but what I was looking for was the big name - like the Death Star, Starkiller Base, or the Star Forge. Voidbreaker was perfect, but it could be called a Hyperspace Destabilizer just as well.

Think about it, perhaps the inventers called it the hyperspace destabilizer, but when those in charge got a hold of it, they went, "What sounds mean and will mamke folks feel threaten and intimidated?" Look to the past, Germany WW II, Mr. Adolph renamed the late war Stg44 machine gun to Sturmgewehr or Assualt Rifle when translated to english. The Empire would do the same thing.

The Deathstar was probably call the big ball planet destruction gun.
