Does anyone know where to get the plastic think on the bottom of ships?

Hey All,

I got my ghost and my phantom was missing the adapter from the bottom of it's ship. I contacted Assmode Support, it's been since the release and still have not heard anything from them. Looks like the great support from FFG is now going down his due to the acquisition by Assmode, but I digress.

Any way, does anyone know where I can get one of these plastic piece third party?

I don't like magnets because they make your ship look really stupid sometimes without being touched. OCD of mine.

So how can I get this plastic adapter third party?

Thanks

You should probably expect to randomly have a Phantom model delivered in the mail any time between 3 weeks and 3 months from now. They often don't respond to parts requests, rather, they just fulfil them.

The easiest way to replace it is with a drill of the correct size, a pair of snips, and a standard base peg. Just make sure the ship is pointed the right way when you glue it on.

Can you give more specifics. What is the correct size to use? I have a Pin vice.

Thanks

I suggest finding your drill bits and comparing them to the size of the peg. I don't have mine to hand at present.

I think it might be either 5 or 6mm but I'm not certain, it's been a month or so since I've needed to do one, and I had to sand down the peg slightly to get it to fit anyway as they're very slightly conical.

Personally I'd buy a stiff bit of plastic tube the right diameter (Maplins or similar) and drill/glue it in place

i had the same issue with a HWK. You will get a new model. This would be a good chance to try out magnets if you are so inclined.

If not, a little Saran Wrap over the peg tip will make it fit snugly.
