Has anyone received replacement cluster mine tokens?

By NeverBetTheFett, in X-Wing

I've been totally ignored, so I'm assuming I'm small potatoes and they could give two s#its about me even though I spend easily $200 every quarter on this company. I'm quite annoyed at their lack of care for my customer issue, especially when it's to do with quality control.

My final attempt...

"I hear all of this talk about FFG having great customer support, but I'm starting to wonder. I won acrylic cluster mines at a Regional Tournament that are defective. I've sent a message to you and to Asmodi and have got zero response! Can you please send me new ones or some equivalent replacement tokens. I'm not asking for much, just a resolution to this issue. I can send photos if need be. I drove 6 hours to win those tokens and I can't even use them."

You might consider reaching out to the tournament organizer for the Regionals event where you won. For instance, I know the owner of the store that hosted the Independence, MO event was recently trying to reach top 16 players to help with replacement tokens.

From my understanding they were shipping to the stores/locations that gave out the original cluster mine tokens and they were to distribute them to who won. Which matches what the above poster said. Might want to contact them instead.

Thanks guys. I'll contact the store. These tokens are no good to me dead (unusable).

Hi! The regionals I helped organize this past weekend did not pass out the defective tokens. We were ordered my FFG to "destroy" them.

Instead, we passed out slips of paper to collect the addresses of the top 16. The store will be receiving the replacement tokens, and we will be having to ship them out to the top 16 ourselves. However, we have not received the replacements yet. Some stores have, I've heard.

I would reach out to the store you won them at, but they may not have a resolution for you just yet!

Evil thinking. What if someone goes to the store and says hey where's my token. They didn't win. That would be very Sith.

I got this reply today:

Hi Jeff,
Our warehouse is in the process of shipping out the correct Cluster Mines to stores that have hosted a Regional championship, who will then distribute them. They will reach out to you when they receive them.

That's not a very good plan. How are stores supposed to contact people? Most people at regionals aren't regular customers.

Perhaps the winners contact the stores?
