When Revealed: Sacrifice a character you control.

I know that sacrifice effects that are costs (Like Bran) cannot be saved from, as then the cost of the action would not have been paid. Can you save the character you select to sacrifice from the effect of this plot? it doesnt appear to be a cost, but wasnt sure if sacrificing allowed for saving at all.

The definition of Sacrifice in the Rules Reference states "A sacrificed card cannot be saved"

It doesn't matter if the sacrifice is cost or effect. You cannot save a card that is sacrificed.
